Watch Dogs 2 is a sequel to Ubisoft’s first open-world hacker-vigilante simulator Watch Dogs. The player becomes Marcus Holloway, a young man living in the sunny San Francisco, allied with DedSec to take down ctOS 2.0, the successor of the invasive operating system known from the previous game. As a third person shooter, Watch Dogs 2 offers a variety of options for both non-lethal and lethal resolutions of challenges offered to the players.
A change of scenery – Watch Dogs 2 takes place in the sunny San Franscisco, full of people and activity reflected well in the game
New protagonist – Marcus Holloway, much like the game’s location, is a more optimistic and energetic protagonist, whose positive attitude and casual jokes make the game much more pleasant and approachable
New hacks to play with – falsely tag someone as a criminal for distraction, take control over other vehicles for confusion, or turn junction boxes into proximity mines for destruction
Interact with NPCs – Marcus has access to emotes, allowing him to get positive or negative reactions from people around him
Drones – Marcus has two 3D-printed drones: a quadcopter for scouting and remote access, and RC car able to drive through vents and access terminals remotely inaccessible
